Angola: Minars Assists Over 208.000 Families Affected By Droughts

Ondjiva — At least 208.313 families from the districts of Kwanhama, Namacunde and Ombadja, southern Cunene province, affected by droughts, benefitted from foodstuff, in the ambit of the distribution plan of goods under the responsibility of the Ministry of Welfare and Social Reintegration (MINARS).

This was said to Angop on Tuesday in Ondjiva city by the acting director of Minars in the region, Mateus Ndulipoupyo.

He said that the beneficiaries received rice, vegetable oil, corn flour, salt and canned meat and fish.
