Luanda — Over 750.000 Angolan families will benefit from power by 2017 from Laúca dam, which is being built in the northern Malanje province, Angop has learnt.
This was announced in Capanda by the project director of Laúca, Elias Estevão, after a two-day visit paid by the Minister of Waters and Energy, João Baptis Borges, to the Capanda, Cambambe and Laúca dams.
Laúca dam will supply power to the northern and central regions of the country.
