Western Sahara: '11 December, 1960 Demonstrations Will Remain Inspiration for the Saharawi People' - Ambassador

Algiers — the Saharawi Ambassador to Algeria, Brahim Ghali, said Tuesday that "the Algerians demonstrations on December 11, 1960 against the biggest colonial power that time will remain an inspiration to the Saharawi people who still fighting for self-determination and seeking for freedom and emancipation,"

He called on for " more efforts to put an end to Moroccan violations of human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara" he said , adding that " it is time for the Saharawi people who believes in his victory to meet his right in build his independent state on its entire soil,"

He expressed solidarity with all Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan jails especially "group of Gdaim Izik who called on the United Nations to open an independent investigation to reveal horror crimes that committed by Morocco against the Saharawis when it dismantled that camp in November2010."

It should be recalled that the Algerian Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi people in collaboration with the Saharawi embassy in Algeria on Tuesday organized solidarity day with the Saharawi issue, in the commemoration of Algerians 11 december1960 demonstrations against France.
