Gambia: In Former Youth and Sports PS Case, Defence Applies to Recall GFA Admin

Senior defence counsel Antouman Gaye, representing Mambanyick Njie, yesterday applied to the court to have the second prosecution witness (PW2), Bakary Dahaba alias Terema, recalled for further cross-examination.

Mambanyick Njie, former permanent secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Banjul, was charged with the offence of giving false information to a public officer, and is being tried at the Banjul Magistrates' Court before acting Principal Magistrate Babucarr Secka.
