Luanda — The secretary of State for Biodiversity, Paula Francisco Coelho, said in Luanda that the strategic plan on new technologies and new residues will allow planning in a sustainable way, taking into account the results of the Rio+20 Convention and of the new agreement on climate changes until 2015.
According to the secretary of State, in an interview to ANGOP on Tuesday, in the sidelines of the workshop on "Development of Angolan Cities", the country is on the right path, but more work should be done aimed at a better use of resources like water and energy.
He stressed that the co-operation and collaboration between Angola and Sweden in this field goes a long way back, under the guidance of the Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos.
The event, organised by the Ministry of Environment in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden in Angola, aimed at the exchange of synergies and knowing the right path and guidelines for the development of the country.
