Angola: Culture and Media Ministries Defend Solid Partnership

Luanda — A more solid partnership between the Ministries of Culture and Social Communication was defended Wednesday in Luanda during a meeting that gathered the delegations of the two sectors.

Led by the respective ministers, Rosa da Cruz e Silva of Culture and José Luís de Matos (Media), the participants discussed various aspects related to the materialisation of cultural policies in the country.

They approached the way the culture issues can be handled in media organs, including the Marketing Cultural and national identity matters.

They also analysed the implementation of the project for recovery of Civic, Moral and Cultural values, apart from "religious phenomenon.

The event gathered, State secretary, Cornélio Caley, directors and senior staff of the culture sector, while the media sector was represented by the officials of board of directors and senior journalists from public organs, namely, Angola news agency (Angop), National Radio of Angola (RNA), Angolan Pubic Television (TPA) and daily NewsPaper (Edições Novembro).
