Angola: Signing of Transport Accord to Strengthen Angola and Spain Relations

Luanda) — The Spanish Foment minister, Ana Pastor, said on Wednesday in Luanda that the signing of cooperation accord in the fields of merchant navy, ports and air transports between Angola and her country is an important landmark in the relations of the two states.

The official said to the press after the signing ceremony of the referred accords.

The Spanish official congratulated the Angolan Transports minister, Augusto Tomás on the work that is being developed in the sector, such as the rehabilitation, modernization and construction of new railway, air and maritime infrastructures.

She said that Angola and Spain are friendly countries and for this effect there is mutual support, thus the signing of these accords related to merchant navy and ports, as well as airport sector.

According to the minister, through these accords Angola and Spain will intensify, consolidate their cooperation relations in this sector, for the interchange of knowledge, training of human resources and various technological experiences by Spain in infrastructural matters.
