Asaba — DELTA State Government, yesterday, said there was no truth in the additional affidavit filed by Economic and Financial Cries Commission, EFCC, legal team to the effect that if the $15 million was eventually refunded to the state, it would find its way to the private pockets of the former governor, Chief James Ibori, presently serving jail sentence abroad.
State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Chike Ogeah, in a statement in Asaba, said: "It is imperative to explain the additional affidavit by EFCC on December 10, 2012. EFCC, in the additional affidavit alleged that if the $15 million was paid to Delta State Government, it will be paid back to Chief Ibori.
