Kenya: Nairobi Aviation and Nakuru Get Promotion to Top League

NAIROBI Aviation College (NAC) and Nakuru Club have been promoted to the premier league next year. The two sides booked their tickets to the top league following their weekend semi finals wins against Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) and Upper Hill School respectively.

They won the best of three series 2-1. NAC beat Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) 84-79 as Ben Oluoch made 13 and Felix Luke had 14. Vincent Anyim bagged 22.

Upper Hill on the other hand crushed 76-67 to home boys Nakuru Club. They will replace University of Nairobi "Terrorists" and Kisumu Lakeside who were dropped.

The other teams that have been promoted are Kenyatta University "Oryx" and Kenya College of Accountancy KCA) University who will join the women premier league. Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) champions Strathmore University will not move up.
