The newly-married Toro Royal family are in the Country. The Uganda Toro royal family Princess Ruth Komuntale and Duke Christopher Thomas are here on holiday.

The couple arrived in early last week and are staying at the Nyali Beach International Mombasa, where they received a warm welcome from the management including former Bollywood actress Kim Sharma Punjani.

The visiting couple got married on November 17 this year at Gweri Village in Uganda. The colourful ceremony was attended by various top celebrities including top Ugandan government officials and streamed live on TVs.

"We're very happy to be in Kenya, we thank the Kenyan people for their warm welcome, we promise to work hand in hand, especially in raising the economy to better standards," said Princesses Ruth.

The couple will be in Nairobi late this week and they will be visiting various places including the Maasai Mara. Unconfirmed reports state that they might be in Kenya through to the new year.
