A teachers union has congratulated Cotu boss Francis Atwoli for being elected the vice president of the organisation of the African Trade Union.
Speaking to the media in Narok town yesterday, the Kenya Union of Special Needs Education Teachers secretary general James Torome said Atwoli's leadership has been recognised in Africa.
Atwoli was elected to the post last week during the 10th Congress of the Pan-African Trade Union movement held in Algiers, Algeria. Atwoli will serve a five-year term.
