Tunisian police and army forces on Tuesday (December 11th) discovered large quantities of explosives and ammunitions in a Tajerouine house located in El Kef, Tunisie Numerique reported. One person was arrested, while two escaped.
The individual arrested was wanted in connection to the Feriana arms trafficking incident. That clash left one Tunisian security officer dead.
Authorities are investigating a salafist terrorist group in El Kef suspected of planning attacks in Tunisian territory.
