Kenya: 43 Escape Unhurt in Bus Crash

Two people were seriously injured and 43 escaped unhurt when a Kampala city bound bus rammed into a truck at Koteko in Teso North yesterday.

Six police officers manning the road block escaped death narrowly when the bus ran over the spikes. The 5am incident left the driver's side ripped apart after it hit the stationary truck.

Joseph Maluk a passenger blamed the driver for the mishap. He said driver may have dozed off. Teso Police boss Elphas Korir said the injured including the driver and turn boy were taken to hospital by good samaritans.
