Tunisia: NCA Adopts IHAE Bill

Bardo — The National Constituent Assembly (NCA) adopted, on Wednesday, the bill on the Independent Higher Authority for the Elections (IHAE), after approval of the final version of its Article 6, which notably deals with the election of the authority chairman.

NCA members voted on an additional article aimed to guarantee continuity and experience transfer of the authority, through the election of two members of the former IHAE whose membership will come to an end after the results proclamation of the next elections.
