Egypt: Armed Forces Call for Dialogue Postponed

Military sources said on Wednesday 12/12/2012 that a call for dialogue by Minister of Defense and Military Production General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to all political and national figures was postponed.

Military Spokesman Colonel Ahmed Mohammed Ali said that postponing a call by the Army for political powers into dialogue to discuss the current political crisis came against backdrop of unenthusiastic reactions by the parties concerned.

In a press statement, he added that the meeting, set for Wednesday, was meant to heal the rift among political powers in the country.
