Luanda — One thousand books of the literary work entitled "A girafa kikas e outros contos" by the Angolan writer Hadjalmar el Vaim, are on sale since Wednesday, in Luanda, with the first session happening at the premises of the Angolan Writers Association (UEA).
The fairy tale book portrays talking animals in various stories.
According to the writer, the book portrays the history of an orphan giraffe which for having long legs was mocked by other animals of the jungle.
On the occasion, Hadjalmar el Vaim, who already has a book that was published in 2011, which is entitled "Cântico da alma (Song of the soul)," said the book is an asset for children, since it is very educational.
