Angola: Aguinaldo Jaime Re-Elected Chairman of Chess Federation

Luanda — Aguinaldo Jaime was re-elected last Wednesday, in Luanda, as chairman of the Angolan Chess Federation (FAX) for the 2012/2016 period.

Aguinaldo Jaime's list ran alone for the board of the FAX.

On his action plan it is highlighted the need to work to increase the number of players from 3,500 to 5000, improve the position of Angolan chess players in international competitions and promote programmes to spread this sport in youth categories.

Aguinaldo Jaime will be assisted by three vice chairmen, namely Rogério Ferreira, Francisco Briffel and José Rufino Junqueira. The new secretary-general is Manuel Olim Neto.
