The Ministry of Regional Development and Planning and the African Development Bank jointly organized a seminar on 12-13 June 2012 on the theme: "Towards a New Growth Model in Tunisia".

The meeting provided an opportunity of interaction between Tunisian academics, development actors and policy makers, so as to help them capitalize on the results of research conducted on the economic and social development model.

The workshop helped to establish initial dialogue on a variety of topics that included public and private governance, financial partners and target markets, the financial sector, policies for employment and social policies, economic transformation and regional development.
