Angola: 1º De Agosto Showed Way for Nation to Win Afrobasket - Coach Paulo Macedo

Luanda — The coach of the senior males basketball team of 1º de Agosto, Paulo Macedo, said that his team showed the way for Angola to win again the African Cup of Nations (Afrobasket), after winning the cup of African Champions Clubs League.

According to him, the Angolan national team should follow the example of the country's clubs that competed in the cup of African Champions Clubs League.

Paulo Macedo thanked the confidence of the managing board of 1º de Agosto and players for having accepted him as the main coach of the club.

He pledged to continue to work so as to win more trophies for 1º de Agosto.

Angola lost the African title in 2011 in Madagascar, after being defeated in the final by Tunisia.
