Angola: African Cup of Nation Trophy Leaves Country

Luanda — The trophy of the African Cup of the Nations in football (AFCON2013) left Thursday the country for Johannesburg, after it had been observed by the Angolan fans during its three-day stay in Angola.

The coming of the trophy in Angola was part of an activity sponsored by the Standard Bank Africa, through a team it sent to Luanda led by its head of marketing, Angie Burton, who left Luanda on 13 December.

The presentation programme consisted on a vehicle tour held on Tuesday in Luanda.

AFCON will be hosted by South Africa from 19 January to 10 February in 2013.

Angola comprise group A together with South Africa, Cape Verde and Morocco.
