Angola: UNTA Defends Creation of More Structures for Youth

Luanda — The general secretary of UNTA trade union, Manuel Augusto Viaje, on Thursday said that it is necessary to create more structures to support young people at the national level, so that they may be ready for their first job, Angop has learnt.

The unionist said so during the opening ceremony of the national forum on Employment in Angola, held by UNTA trade union.

According to him, young people are the greatest part of the Angolan population and must be given a greater attention because they are the main labour force.

"Youngsters claim for a greater support in matters of housing, worthy salary, opportunity of testing their knowledge and other guarantees of affirmation at the labour world", he said.
