Angola: AvÕ Kumbi Hospital Needs 35 Physicians

Luanda — Avô Kumbi hospital in Luanda's kilamba Kiaxi urban district needs 35 medical practitioners and 20 specialised nurses to cover the demand.

This was said to Angop on Thursday by the director general of the referred hospital, Renato Palma Chimbalanha.

He said that the current rhythms of the functioning of the hospital demands more cadres, as it has only 10 physicians and 480 nurses, a number that is not enough to attend the patients.

According to him, the humanisation of the health services depends on the sanitary infrastructures and the existente of technicians capable of attending patients with dignity.
