Gambia: SK East Bounce Back in Super Nawetan

Following their disappointing 3-1 defeat to Barra, Essau and Mayamba in their third group A clash at the weekend, Serrekunda East on Tuesday bounced back to their winning form after beating struggling Manjai 3-2 in a well-fought game played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Banjul and Serrekunda West continued their superb run of form after beating Barra, Essau and Mayamba and the defending champions, Lamin, respectively on the same day.

Banjul beat Barra, Essau and Mayamba 2-1 at the Banjul Mini Stadium while Serrekunda West beat Lamin by 1-nil at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.

Banjul are currently leading group A with 8 points in four games; Serrekunda West and East are on second position with 7 points each in four encounters.

Barra, Essa and Mayamba are 4th position with 5 points in four games, Manjai are 5th position with 4 points in four encounters while defending champions Lamin are at the bottom of the group with a single point.
