Morocco: President of Republic Underlines Polisario Commitment to Negotiations With Morocco

Shahid Alhafed — President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, underlined Polisario Front commitment to the negotiations process with Morocco in order to allow the Sahrawi people to accede to self-determination under the international legality and UN Resolutions.

The negotiations with Morocco are "necessary" and "the door of these negotiations will remain open at least until next April," President Abdelaziz told the Algerian National Radio, hoping to see the Sahrawi issue reach final settlement through negotiations.

In the same context, he added that the contacts and pressures "continue with regard to the Moroccan practices," underlining the need "to put pressures, both real and perceived, on the party that violates law and opposes UN decisions to bring it to be in line with the international legality."
