The Board, Management, staff and students of Brikama-ba Upper Basic and Senior Secondary Schools in the Central River Region have written to the Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, thanking him for the recent donation of five new computers to the school.

The letter reads:

With profound gratitude, the staff, students and Management Board of the above school wish to extend their sincere appreciation for the donation of five new computers to the school and to reassure you that the computers will be put to judicious use in the development of the school.

Your Excellency, the kind gesture expressed towards the school has shown that your passion and love for the Gambian people cut across regions and creed. Your generosity is inspirational and has become the greatest thing to happen to the school. Finally, you are viewed as a role model by our students, because of the concern you showed towards their being.
