An alliance between the Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoko is the most preferred by voters, a poll released by Ipsos Synovate, shows.
According to the poll 47 per cent of Kenyans would vote for a group in which Raila Odinga was the president and Kalonzo Musyoka as the running mate as compared to 41 per cent who prefer a political group with Uhuru Kenyatta as the presidential candidate and William Ruto as the running mate.
The poll also shows that Raila Odinga remains the most preferred candidate with 34 per cent, while Uhuru Kenyatta is at second with 27 per cent, followed by Peter Kenneth four per cent ,Kalonzo Musyoka three per cent, William Ruto two per cent, and Martha Karua with one per cent
According to the opinion poll majority of 91 per cent of unregistered voters are planning to register with 97% saying they would have registered by the December 19 deadline.
