Former president Mohamed Hosni Mubarak sustained head injuries and some chest bruises after he fell down inside a bathroom at Tora Prison Hospital on Saturday, a security source at the prison authority sector said.
The medical team supervising Mubarak's condition x-rayed him to ensure no bones were broken, the source told the state news agency MENA.
Mubarak was sentenced for life after being convicted for his role in killing protesters during the January 25 uprising.
