Nigeria: Obuh Fears for Flying Eagles Players

Flying Eagles coach John Obuh has expressed worry over the late start of the Nigeria Premier League, believing that it will make his team players to be match rusty before the start of the Africa Youth Championship billed for March 2013 in Algeria.

"Ninety-nine percent of my players are from the League. If we have a late start, it means we would have to work extra hard to put the players in shape," lamented Obuh.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in group B of the tournament alongside Mali, Benin Republic and Gabon for the 2013 CAF U-20 African Youth Championship billed for Algeria in March.

"These are no push over teams. We must have to be at our very best to do well at the Championship." the coach added.

The Flying Eagles are the defending champions from the 2011 edition in South Africa.
