The first round of the referendum on the constitution that was held on 15/12/2012 in Cairo, Alexandria and eight other governorates witnessed high turnout.

The Higher Elections Commission decided to extend Saturday's ballot to 11:00 pm due to the high turnout.

A number of Judges who supervised six voting stations in Daqahliya (Al Boushah, Allouzy, Al Sabreya, Galya and Al Qeshta) and Nazlet Al Ablaq in Assiut, have announced the results of voting in the referendum on the constitution.

On the other hand, Amr Roshdi, Foreign Ministry spokesman said that different opinions of diplomats on the constitution and the referendum don't affect their career duty. ‮
