Eritrea: Schools in Adi-Gulbet and Adebeza Villages Obtain Material Support

Areza — Several nationals residing here in the country and abroad extended material support worth 1 million Nakfa to the schools in Adi-Gulbet and Adebeza villages, Areza sub-zone, which includes computers, photocopier, printer, TV and solar panels.

Mr. Abraham Haile, director of the school in Adebeza, explained that the facility shortcomings it had has fully been solved, and indicated that students have already started attending computer classes. He further pointed out that the desks of both schools have been refurbished at an expenditure of 280,000 Nakfa.

The inhabitants of the villages on their part expressed satisfaction with the support, which impact has become visible in strengthening the teaching-learning process.

Mr. Tesfai Sibhatu, head of the Education Ministry's branch in Areza sub-zone, said that such popular support attest to growing awareness regarding educational values, and called on parents in the locality to enhance their role in their children's academic pursuit.
