Angola: Communication Ministry Praised for National Journalism Award

Luanda — The minister of State and head of the Civil Office to the Presidency of the Republic, Edeltrudes Costa, Thursday in Luanda, praised the Social Communication Ministry (MCS) for promoting the National Journalism Award.

Speaking at the end of the National Journalism Award prize giving gala, Edeltrudes Costa said the award is an incentive to research and journalistic creativity in the country.

"Congratulations to the MCS and to journalists. This is an incentive to research and journalistic creativity," he stressed.

As he added, journalism is an extremely important profession, hence his attending the event on behalf of the head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos.
