Kenya: Nameless Dismisses 'Robbery With Violence' Story As Exaggeration

City residents terrorized by gangs.

Nameless has dismissed claims that he was violently robbed last Sunday in Dandora. The singer, who had gone to perform at Jimnah Mbaru's campaign tour, admits that rowdy youth raided his car but were chased away by security personnel.

"The stories going round in the internet are quite exaggerated. I was neither hurt nor violently mishandled. The youth just surrounded my car and tried to force their way in. They only got away with a six-pack can of beers but were chased away by bouncers before they could steal anything else," Nameless told Word Is.

Although he could not tell whether the 'attackers' were fans or just goons looking to cause trouble, he admits he did try talking to some of them but they went ahead to force their way into his car.
