Liberia: CPAFFC Donates to FLY

In order to improve the study conditions of Liberian youth, the Chinese Enterprises Charity Fund to Africa managed by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Chinese-African People's Association jointly donated educational materials to the Federation of Liberian Youth (fly) under the program Caring Youth Action in Liberia over the weekend at the embassy of China in Congo Town.

Speaking at the donation program, the Vice President for CPAFFC Feng Zuoku said the exchanges between Liberia and China in recent years has been much closer.

According to him, there has been sustained strengthened political mutual trust, deepened cooperation in economy and trading and on many international issues as well as mutual support to each other on issue of core values and major benefit.

"We are willing to share the achievement of development with Liberian people and to make contribution to the development of Liberia" he said.

He stated that donation to the youth caries profound affection to Liberian people from Chinese government represented by the Chinese embassy in Liberia.

"Youth is the future of a country, we would like to do all we can to help Liberian youth so as to pass the friendship between china and Africa from generation to generation" he said.

Accepting the items, the President of Federation of Liberian Youth Mohammed Nasser appreciated the CPAFFC for US$25.00 worth of materials to the youth and students of community of Liberia to help enhance the capacity of the youth sector.

He promised that the materials will be used for the intended purpose and the friendship of will remain unshakable in the commitment to working cooperatively with the government and people of the People's Republic of China.

The donated items 19 computers , 19 printers, 100 cartridge ink, 10 memory sticks, 19 projectors, 11pcs MP3, printing papers 100 cartons, 100 cartons of copy book and 100 cartons of pen.

Other includes, color pen 100 cartons, 10 cartons of pencil, school bag 154 pieces, 150 pieces of Dictionary amongst other valuable items.
