Egypt: Mursi Thanks Jordan's Monarch for Ending Local Workers' Problems

President Mohamed Morsy on Thursday 13/12/2012 thanked Jordan's King Abdullah II for his swift response to intervene to stop arrest and deportation measures targeting Egyptian workers there.

"Morsy expressed his thankfulness to the Jordanian monarch for his decision to stop these measures," the presidency said in a statement.

The president hailed the historic, deep-rooted relations binding the two countries, and the necessity to continue the ministerial coordination to solve the problems facing Egyptian workers there, the statement said.
