Luanda — The National Assembly Friday in Luanda pledged a comprehensive discussion of the state budget for 2013 (OGE) that includes the participation of all groups of civil society.
This was said by the chairman of Economy and Finance Commission of the parliament, Manuel Júnior, when speaking to the press after the delivery by the government of the state budget draft to the National Assembly.
He said that the budget stipulates expenditure and revenues estimated at AKZ 6.6 trillion, against the AKZ 4.5 trillion adopted in 2012.
According to him, the MPs have enough time to materialise this process, although they will resume work on 15 January in 2013, after a festive season related break.
The state budget draft was accompanied by a letter from the Head of State addressed to the Parliament.
The state budget draft was delivered to the National Assembly Speaker Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos by a Government team, headed by the Minister of State and Chief of Civil Office of the Presidency of Republic, Edeltrudes Costa.
The team comprises Ministers of Finance, Carlos Alberto Lopes, and Parliamentary Affairs, Rosa Micolo.
