Angola: Nation Wants Be Reference in Telecommunications

Luanda — The Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies wants to turn Angola into a reference point in the region.

This was said to Angop on Friday by the incumbent minister, José Carvalho da Rocha.

The minister said it will be possible through a quality service supply, accessible prices, regardless from the area the citizens are located.

The official voiced so at the launching ceremony of the Angola-Brazil sub-marine cable project.

In addition, the minister said that with this step the sector will accomplish with the guides of the Executive, three years later, for access of the sub-marine cables.

"It was not easy at that time. Today we are witnessing other important moment, with the inauguration of this point and we will continue to pursue our goals", said the Minister.

According to him, this is an important point for what the country's goals are.
