The general chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), general Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda Thursday defended the need of developing and improving the logistics system in order to provide a decent support to the troops.
The chief of Staff said so during the closing ceremony of the 6th methodological meeting of experts in logistics, held in the capital city of central Huambo province.
Geraldo Nunda called for the need of starting the rehabilitation of various logistics infrastructures in the country that are in an advanced state of deterioration.
On the other hand, the general backed the creation of jobs in logistics in the localities of Malanje, Matala and Bie.
According to him, these projects will operate as multimedia platform so as to ensure financial conditions in the short term.
The chief of Staff urged the participants to apply their knowledge acquired and convey them to the remaining units in favour of the development of the Angolan Armed Forces.
