Gambia: T-Junction Defeat Power Play in Ebotown Tournay

T-Junction FC Friday secured a solid 2-0 win in their second game in the ongoing eight-team tournament organised by the Ebotown Youth Development Association (EYDA) played at the famous Ebotown Park Jola. The tournament is meant to identify players that can form a team that will represent the community in the upcoming GFA 3rd Division League qualifiers.

Goals from Sampol Gomez and Gibril Sanyang in the 5th and 76th minutes respectively were enough for T-Junction to secure three valuable points that have now put them on top of Group B with a maximum six points from two games. That ensured their qualification to the next stage of the competition.

Meanwhile in the previous games, Real Betis drew goalless with Bilbao; Lion Bi also drew goalless with Yombayi. In its second game, Betis drew 1-1 with Lion Bi while Yombayi saw off Bilbao 2-1.
