Angola: 2013 World Championship Budget Out in January

Luanda — The budget for the 41st edition of the World Roller Hockey Cup, which Angola will host in 2013, will be announced next January, during the discussion and approval of the draft State Budget, which was unveiled on Friday at the National Assembly (parliament), ANGOP has learnt.

This was revealed on Friday by the spokesman of the Interministerial Commission for organizing the event, Pedro Azevedo, at the end of a working meeting at 11 de November national stadium ember, under the guidance of the coordinator and minister of Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba.

Speaking to the press, Pedro Azevedo, who is also the vice-president for marketing of the Roller Hockey Federation, explained that this year the organising committee received 450 million kwanzas, from which 350 million has already been spent on the team's preparation and on other expenses.

Regarding the Namibe province, a city that will also host the World Championship, in addition to Luanda, the situation is positive, taking into account that the local authorities are currently working in existing units and in those that are being built.

At the meeting, attended by the minister of Urbanisation and Housing, José da Silva Ferreira, of Transport, Augusto da Silva Tomás, the Secretaries of State for Media and Sports, respectively, Manuel da Conceição, and Albino da Conceição, the participants discussed about the issue of fields to support the main competition.
