Angola: Population and Housing Census Worths Akz 4.0 Billion

Luanda — At least AKZ 4.0 billion is the estimated amount proposed by the 2013 state budget for the holding of the general census of population and housing.

This was said to Angop on Friday here by the Minister of Finance, Carlos Lopes.

The official also said that the mentioned census is the greatest programme of the Ministry of Planning and Territory Development.

He said that some branches will be opened in the country's 18 provinces.

The mentioned census aims at getting feasible and updated statistics data necessary for the monitoring and assessment of strategy of fighting against poverty.
