Prime Minister Dr. Hisham Qandil said that rights of the martyrsurge all Egyptians to participate in the referendum on the new constitution. He stressed that the state institutions are ready to secure all polling stations in the 10 governorates where the first phase of the referendum is taking place.
In statements to "Akhbar El-Youm" newspaper on Saturday 15/12/2012, Qandil stated that the new constitution contains many positive points.He pointed out that he will inspect several polling stations on Saturday, stressing government's keenness on securing all polling stations.
Qandil made clear that an agreement was reached with an Egyptian investor to restore EGP 600 million to the State, where an amount of EGP 300 million has already been paid.
PM Qandil explained that 46 projects have been re-operated with investments of nearly EGP 47 billion, thus creating 29,000 job opportunities. He added that nearly 800,000 new job opportunities will be created by end of this financial year.
Qandil stressed that anti-corruption measures will provide nearly EGP 20 million for the State next year.
