Nigeria: Police Arrest Two Suspects Over Kano Lawmaker's Murder

The Kano State Police Command has arrested a principal suspect and one other person over the killing of Alhaji Danladi Isa Kademi, a lawmaker in Kano House of Assembly and a top-notch of the All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP).

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris , told reporters weekend that among the two suspects who are being held at the Bompai Police Headquarters, one of them has a strong case to answer. Idris also added that "for now, the police is working on the theory of assassination, going by some facts on ground."
