Angola/Gambia: Sable Antelopes Draw 1-1 With Gambia

Luanda — The national senior males football team last Saturday drew 1-1 with Gambia, in Ombaka Stadium, Benguela City, a friendly game that is part of the preparation of the Sable Antelopes (Angola squad) for next year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2013), to happen in South Africa from January 19 to February 10.

Angola scored first at the eleventh minute through a penalty kick by Amaro, whereas the Gambians levelled the score at minute 72.

The second preparation match of the Sable Antelopes is scheduled for December 19, with Cameroon, in Huila Province's Benfica do Lubango Stadium.

The third control game is with Rwanda, set to take place on December 22, in Luanda's 11 de Novembro Stadium.

In the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2013), Angola is in group A with Morocco, South Africa and Cape Verde.
