Egypt: CAEU Probes Trio Economic Entity

The council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) currently presided over by Jordan will kick off on Tuesday18/12/2012. Ambassador Mohammed El-Rabeea the council's secretary general will present an all-inclusive report on the economic situation in the Arab world, developments in the world economy, and the outlook of the Arab economy in the coming years.

The report also will focus on the growth rates, inflation and unemployment at the international level and its repercussion on the Arab trade.

Ambassador Mohammed El-Rabeea said that the Tuesday session will discuss setting up the Arab golden triangle which was suggested by Egypt's Foreign Minister Mohammed Kamel Amr to achieve Arab economic cooperation among Egypt, Sudan and Libya in all vital fields.

He added that the meeting will also probe the possibility of holding an international economic conference as a prelude to revitalizing the Arab common market.
