President Mohamed Morsi reviewed on Sunday 16/12/2012 at the headquarters of the presidential palace in Heliopolis with Prime Minister Hisham Qandil and Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Farouq el-Oqda a number of economic files as well as the economic situation in the country.

Moreover, the ministerial economic group has already convened on Sunday 16/12/2012 under Prime Minister Hisham Qandil to assess Egypt's economic standing and the execution of the government's plan.

The government will be engaged in a national dialogue after completing the referendum to strategize fixing the budget without afflicting low-income families or causing social inequity, Cabinet Spokesman Alaa el-Hadidy said.
