Egypt: 91-Day, 273-Day T-Bills Auctioned

The Finance Ministry auctioned on Sunday16/12/2012 the 91-day and 273-day treasury bills at a total value of LE5 billion.

In an online statement, the ministry said the average yield on the 91-day T-bills was 12.978%, adding it accepted bids at rates between 12.9% and 13.020%.

The average yield on the 273-day T-bills was 13.456%, the ministry also said, adding it accepted bids at rates ranging between 13.25% and 13.54%.

The Central Bank of Egypt auctions T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
