A Cairo court sentenced Azhar Professor Abdullah Badr to one year in prison with labor and a fine of 20, 000 Egyptian pounds for slandering actress Ilham Shaheen on Monday.
The court granted Badr bail of 5, 000 Egyptian pounds.
