Gambia: Softball Association Scouts for Talents

The talent search for a Gambia National Softball team intensified at the weekend when the association held a training session with members of the West Coast Region team at the Box Bar Mini-Stadium in Brikama.

It is the second week running that the association is involved in such a programme after a similar training was held at the Serekunda West Mini-Stadium last week as it scouts talents for an invitational international Softball tournament in Senegal that will take place from 27th December to the 1st of January.

Speaking to Observer Sports in an exclusive interview at the end of Saturday's training which was also attended by the Executive Members of the Association, Haruna Cham, the Course Director of The Gambia Softball Association, said the training is all about talent identification for the upcoming tournament.
