Big Brother Africa star Karen Igho was assaulted at an event in Nigeria on Friday night. The Nigerian celebrity attended the event in support of her close friend, Chanell O VJ Denrele Edun, who was the host of the show.

According to her Twitter rants on Saturday morning, she was 'approached' by the security guard who demanded money. When she said she didn't have money, the guard slapped her and pointed a gun at her head.

Karen spent most of her Saturday morning ranting about the incident: "Wow I got slapped at a Smirnoff party, by a security. He loaded his gun and put it to my face at the car park, he wanted money and I didn't have any on me then he slapped me. Still in shock and pain. Even my father has never slapped me like this and the loading of the gun to shoot me wow am in shock."
