Jitu Films' short film Me, My Wife and Her Guru has won the People's Choice Award at the Nile's Diaspora International Film Festival.

The film features Alexandros Konstantaras, his wife Lizz Njagah, Ian Mbugua and Millicent Mugadi. The event was held in Kampala, Uganda.

The actors and directors in the film, however, learnt about their victory on social media. "It's a shame they never informed us. We could have been there," Lizz said.

NDIFF is a non profit cultural organisation whose mission is to transform the way people see the world through film. The Nile's Diaspora International Film Festival promotes artistically and culturally significant film and arts through education and exhibition to enrich the lives of the community while entertaining them.
